CORNWALL WITH FRIENDS (+ A LOT OF KIDS)

Last February half term my family, along with 3 other families went to Cornwall for a long weekend. We stayed at the amazing Tregulland Cottage & Barn in two interconnecting houses and had a lot of fun.

Altogether there were 8 adults and 12 kids (who’s ages ranged from 12 years to 8 months) which isn’t an easy number of people to coordinate and cater for - but somehow the houses made it so easy.

There was so much space - both in and out of the houses. Both places had large well equipped kitchens, a projector for watching movies, big but cosy sitting rooms, at least one bathroom for each family. Then there was the amazing indoor fresh water swimming pool, a games room with a table tennis table and loads of games - the kids (and the grown ups) absolutely LOVED it.

One night while we were there we were celebrating a friends birthday so decided to us the recommended caterers so no one had to cook - the food and service was excellent and it was such a fun evening.

We also enjoyed walking around the lake at the bottom of the garden and playing Tregulland’s own playground in the garden.

It was such a great break and despite the number of kids it was incredibly relaxing - and i think this was mainly down to the houses being so functional, spacious and nice to be in.

Tregulland is such a great option for large groups - it would make an excellent place for a party too, in fact the people arriving after us were there for a wedding which would have been brilliant i’m sure.
